about

Artem Bank Baltimore

I am a freelance composer and producer that is based in Baltimore, Maryland. Though I'm still young and new to the scene, I like to think that I've at least made a small and growing mark in history as a composer for video games. My first soundtrack, Star Ruler, was a chance encounter that left me wanting to do more, and ultimately decided my entire career in music from there. ... more

Track Name: Here To Stay
I can taste the rain,
I can feel the dark,
I can see your face,
In this pouring,
Stark infested wasteland.
All I see,
Is a mask of God, glaring down at me.

At least you can fly away,
Leave me here to stay.
And I will follow one day,
I just hope you will stay the same.

I believe in chaos,
I believe in havoc,
I believe in order,
I believe in static laws,
That pass down.
Generations fall,
Society drowns.

I hate the people,
I hate the sword,
I hate the legend,
I hate this world,
That I've created,
Yet still I breathe,
Air impure, diluted,
And cannot leave.

At least you can fly away,
Leave me here to stay.
And I will follow one day,
I just hope you will stay the same.

The people, the sword,
The legend, the world,
The anger, the hate,
And life, it's fate,
The swollen, the bruised,
The famous, the used,
The darkness, the rain,
The pain's the same.

Those celebrities with all their scenes,
Cameras flashing on the streets,
Society's got them in their grip,
And if they fall we make a fit.
Bowing on our knees again,
Can't take no more,
I won't pretend,
To be their lacky everyday,
I hope those stars will get their day.
Track Name: Iris
There's this girl,
She's about, 5 foot 5,
With long brown hair,
And deep green eyes.
Smile that's addictive,
And always wears her glasses,
Never shy,
Not even to the masses.

Wears flowly skirts,
That go down to her ankles,
Always a pretty pattern,
Makes me get entangled,
One ring of gold,
Nothing too showy,
Doesn't even need makeup,
She's that pretty.

I want to say hello,
But I can't.

Oh, Iris,
The lady I've always loved,
I think about you day and night,
Will you come here and stand by me,
So I can be alright.

And her realm's filled with plush animals,
And a guitar in the corner that catches your eye.
Notebook filled with words from her thoughts
And I know all the words to her songs,

See, she performs for me,
An audience of one,
Doesn't mind to share her feelings.
Deepest darkest ones,
To a man she doesn't know,
Her voice is so sweet.

I want to say hello,
But I can't.

Oh, Iris,
The lady I've always loved,
I think about you day and night,
Will you come here and stand by me,
So I can be alright.

And it's 2 AM when I see a car pull up.
Though she's not the driver, it's another man in love.
She gives him a kiss, leaves a crack in the door.
He pulls away, I gain confidence and more,

I get closer to the house, with a smile on my face,
Open her door, but I know this walkway,
Smells so pretty and I can't believe it's time,
To say... hello...
Track Name: Tinted
You've got yourself a living,
Big house on top the hill,
Yachts and jets and sporty cars,
My ain't that a thrill,
But I know a secret you havent told,
Your spoils your riches, your cache of gold,
Can you tell me where you get it from?

Your 'rents ain't rich, you got no job,
And you're far from CEO,
Your hands don't twitch, no atheltic itch,
so how'd you build the whole?
Well I've figured it out, with-out no doubt,
You're a crook who doesn't steal.
Don't need no fence, just an artist's sense,
To paint them dollar bills.

Caught in a lie, ain't that grand?
Life broken down, pathetic young man,
We live in a world, tinted green, greed based society,
Well, you know what?
That's okay.

Cause from my point of view,
You've carrying a few, burdons ain't that right?
All that stress, what a mess,
Though the smile's such a sight,
Feel that sin infesting you?
Yea, I know, feels pretty good.
Hope to join you one day, though I gotta say,
All my art's done right n' true.

Caught in a lie, ain't that grand?
Life broken down, pathetic young man,
We live in a world, tinted green, greed based society,
Well, you know what?
That's okay.
Track Name: Change
Tumbling Forward,
Catch my breath,
Hold me steady.
I'm locked down the sights.
Fire the shot,
It's all or nothing.
Facing the fear of never coming back, lifting heavy,
Doubts on my shoulder I'm over the edge,
Over the edge,
Over the edge of it all.
I'm staring down this hole.

And we could change the world.
If only allowed the time.
And we could change the world.
If only I could come right back to you.

Whistling past,
Flashes of light,
Life rushes back through time.
My legs fight through the ripping pain,
In this no man's land,
Battlefield of horror,
Castastrophe in my,
Eyes wide open,
soaring high,
Combat my breathe,
And go over the edge of it all.
I'm staring down this hole.

And we could change the world.
If only allowed the time.
And we could change the world.
If only I could come right back to you.

So you wanted to know what I saw over the edge of the trench?
Muzzle flash, bullet through the brain, then absolutely nothing.

But we could've changed the world.
We could've changed the world.
We could change the world.
We could change the world.
Track Name: Puzzle
On a cold Christmas eve,
I try to follow,
But the powder covers,
And your footsteps disappear,
Under the white wind.
All I know,
is where the corners sit,
But they say foundation's
the first step in making something fit.

And I've found the pieces,
To make us whole.
But I don't know where they go.
And I've found the pieces,
To make us whole.
So why don't you show me,
Your puzzle baby.

Cause you got the right sense of sight,
To see the delicate changes in every tile,
Of this winter wonderland.
Cause all I see is a pure blank slate,
Where we could piece anything we want together.

And I've found the pieces,
To make us whole.
But I don't know where they go.
And I've found the pieces,
To make us whole.
So why don't you show me,

So what do you say,
We could take our sets, maybe mix-n-match,
And put our lives together.

And I've found the pieces,
To make us whole.
But I don't know where they go.
And I've found the pieces,
To make us whole.
So why don't you show me,
Your puzzle baby.
